The Islamabad Capital Territory Police also known as the Islamabad Police/ICT Police was established on 1 January 1981. The purpose of the ICT Police is to meet the need for a separate police organization for the Federal Capital City of Islamabad to ensure the rule of law, protection of life and property and to curb civil unrest.
The purpose of the ICT Police organization is to protect the peace and public safety by enforcing local state and federal laws and by providing aid/assistance in emergency or crisis situations.
Islamabad Capital Territory Police invites online applications all over Pakistan as per Provincial/Regional Quota set by Federal Government to ensure transparency and merit.
Candidates belonging to Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh Rural, Sindh Urban, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Balochistan, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan and AJK are eligible as per described regional/provincial quota.

Eligibility Criteria for ICT Police Jobs 2022
Educational Requirements:
Holders of Matric Pass or equivalent qualifications can apply.
Physical Requirements:
Minimum age limit: 18 years
Maximum age limit: 25 years
Minimum height for boys: 5 feet 7 inches
Minimum height for girls: 5 feet 2 inches
Chest: 33 to 34.5 inches (for male applicants only)
Applicants must pass an endurance test (1.5 miles in 10.5 minutes for male candidates and 15 minutes for female applicants. No relaxation will be given on height, chest or age.
ICT Police Jobs Online Application Form 2022
Interested candidates must apply online through the Police ICT website www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk OR click here. They can fill out the online form within 15 days.
The ICT Police will never accept applications submitted in person or by post. Candidates are expected to provide complete and correct information in the online form. In case of providing false information, candidates will be punished according to section 420/468/471.
A transgender person can apply according to their own gender identity as per the provisions of the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2018 and according to the gender mentioned in the CNIC.
Children of serving/retired police personnel applying on family basis must provide complete information such as pension book or retirement order at the time of interview.
After submitting the online form, a Receipt with registration number for the test will be uploaded on www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk after verification of applications. The roll number slip contains the details of the test date, time table and venue.
